🤝 From Philosophy to Insurance: Meet Eric Felth
I opened my State Farm agency in Jefferson in 1999, bringing an educational background that continues to influence how I approach conversations with customers.
I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in philosophy and business administration and later earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota. My education emphasized asking thoughtful questions, considering different perspectives, and explaining complex ideas clearly. Those are principles I value when helping customers understand their insurance choices.
Being part of the Jefferson community is also important to me. I am involved with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and enjoy staying connected to the people and local businesses that make this area distinctive.
Outside the agency, I enjoy traveling, reading, and golfing. My wife, Lisa, and I have been married for 39 years, and we enjoy spending time with our two children, their spouses, and our three grandchildren. Our English Springer Spaniel, Angel, is another much-loved member of our family.
